I had never used a decorator before, mainly was afraid they'd want to make my house into their style and I'd lose my own character and preferences. Also was afraid of the cost. How surprised I was with Judy to find out these beliefs were so wrong with her. First, it wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be. We were doing a kitchen/dining/utility room remodel and there was a lot of decisions to make. She wanted to know my preferences from the start and thereafter we moved in that direction. She gave me ideas I would never have thought in a million years to take my style and make it "pop!" When I had a desire for two different things that I thought would never work together, she showed me the way to mix both in to make a much more interesting look that I would never tire of. And most importantly, when I thought I knew what I wanted, she gave great feedback, confirming what I was thinking or getting me back on track, which I needed more than once!!
